About the Course
The Ethical Hacking Python (EHPY) course covers the use of the Python 3 language in Offensive Security (Pentest, Red Team), providing essential information so that students can develop their own security tools.
The course is aimed at professionals in the Information Security field, the broader IT area, people interested in learning Python applied to Cybersecurity, as well as those who want to improve their knowledge of the language to have the foundation needed to build their own programs.
With a hands-on approach, the course offers challenges related to the needs of an Information Security professional, focusing on offensive activities. Students will be able to exercise logical and creative thinking as they are encouraged to solve automation problems during several phases of a Pentest or a Red Team operation, in addition to strengthening important programming and networking fundamentals that are always required in the security field.
This course will cover programming and networking concepts, the main Python modules applied to Information Security, task automation, and techniques for building tools that can become essential in the work of a security professional. The knowledge presented ranges from basic to intermediate level and may vary according to each student's professional experience.
Finally, the course will feature a special platform called PyLab, which will test the knowledge of all students, regardless of their programming skill level. There are more than 50 challenges, with gradually increasing difficulty and a scoring system, which will serve as a practical way for students to apply the knowledge acquired in the course, raising their level of understanding of the field. The main goal of PyLab, in addition to encouraging students to grow, is to solidify fundamentals. Therefore, even if some of the challenges may seem easy, they are based on concepts that provide more background for understanding the course's main topic: applying the Python 3 language to the Offensive Security environment.
